'Devoted' Father Killed In Rollover Crash Lived In Everett 'For Many Years'

A 53-year-old Everett man whose life was tragically and suddenly cut short is being remembered by the community as "beloved husband" and "devoted father," according to his obituary

Benjamin Abarca Martinez was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Campton, New Hampshire on Thursday, June 15, as previously reported by Daily Voice

Martinez, who was born in San Vicente in El Salvador, lived in Everett "for many years," his obituary reads. The 53-year-old wore many hats in his life, including his work as a laborer for the Labor Union #22

"Beloved husband of Lorety (Abrego) Abarca. Dear son of Benjamin Abarca and the late Maria Antonia Martinez. Dear and devoted father of Sandra Gorety Abarca and her fiance', Andrew Fisher of Everett. Loving brother of Sandra Beatriz Abarca of Malden," Marinez's obituary reads. 

Friends and family are welcome to attend Martinez's visitation in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, located at 65 Clark Street in Everett, from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20.
